Question: Why is it so difficult to know if something is Your answer to my prayers or not - it’s like a guessing game?

God’s answer:

Christ holding a golf bag/clubs and a hole flag with word HEAVEN

Roulette Table, with equal coins stocked on red and blue.
The words written on the table:
Turn of Fate

You shall always know where My ball is going to land.

Meaning: Our objective and God’s objective are different. We are very short sighted. We look for the immediate satisfaction of our current needs. Our concern is our life here and now. We always look for the external manifestations rather than the internal transformation. God, on the other hand, is concerned about our eternal life. His goal is to make sure we get to Heaven.

1713

God’s statement:

Your will is temporal. Mine is eternal.

On the right side is a battery. Your will (Temporal)

On the left side, a wall socket. My will (Eternal)

In the middle front is a heart with a light bulb

You see things My way.

Meaning: The things we ask from God to light up our hearts/our life are of a temporal nature (like a battery). The things He wants to gives us are of an eternal nature (electrical outlet). It is our narrow sense of reasoning that blocks the graces God intends for us to have. We tend to have a one track mind.

It is when we understand the ultimate will of God that we begin to recognize how he is answering our every prayer, how every “turn of fate” takes us closer to a life of peace, perfection and joy. Sometimes, the twists and turns are not very pleasant. It is during these times we question the goodness of God.

God’s statement:

You see things from your intentions and not mine. Know that I always have your best interest in mind.
